The Arcade Fire

"Interesting" and "original" are two words greately understating one of today's most indescribable rock bands existing: The Arcade Fire. Truely moving and thought-provoking lyrics accompanied by instumentals put together so differently than ever heard before are what makes this band so "intriguing," as Time Magazine simply puts it.

This band was started in 2003. After the "Us Kids Know EP" was created, a full length album, "Funeral," was recorded. After grabbing the attention and souls of so many indie-loving fans, their most recent album, "Neon Bible," did even more for fans than expected.

The reason this sound is so original? Random instruments, random vocalists-- you can never expect how a new song is going to turn out. It's as artful as music is meant to be, and closing your eyes and listening can be as great of an experience as reading a book... for the tales in these songs do not dissappoint.

You'll have to listen. The touring members of this band are Marika Anthony-Shaw, Colin Stetson, Kelly Pratt, Wilferd Bremmely, Owen Pallett, and Pietro Amato.
